Cheritage meets Alone in the World

Cheritage meets Alone in the World

In June the Romanian partner organized a learning dissemination event involving teachers and librarians on AR for cultural and educational purposes.

On 7 June 2021, Valcea County Library, the Romanian partner in the Cheritage project, hosted a meeting with teachers and partners in the Alone in the World project, a European initiative that gathers together pre-school teachers in order to share experiences in the educational context.

On this occasion, 25 participants from Turkey, Northern Macedonia, Bulgaria and Romania were invited to discover the most representative cultural objectives in Europe, through the method developed within our project. In addition to the exhibited posters, the participants were trained in using the Augmented Reality method for educational and cultural purposes. Also, the participants took part in a practical demonstration about how to use the Zappar application in order to promote cultural heritage.
