Update on #Cheritage learning activities

Waiting to be able to gather again, in July the #Cheritage partners met virtually for a series of webinars on Augmented Reality.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the #Cheritage project was forced to reschedule its activities, especially the learning ones which are based on mobility among EU countries. The last learning meeting, in particular, was supposed to take place in Madeira (Portugal) in spring 2020 but was canceled due to the restrictions in force. Waiting to be able to gather in person again, the partners thus decided to have a preliminary online version of that training in the summer, through a series of themed webinars.

The focus of the fourth learning activity was Augmented Reality and, specifically, the Zappar application, which will be used to enrich the AR posters describing the cultural heritage items chosen by each participant country.

Between 15 and 31 July 2020, the partner organizations from Romania, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Greece and Ireland were thus virtually trained by the representative of the Portuguese one, Escola Profissional Cristóvão Colombo, on how to use Zappar. Based on what learned so far, they began creating the posters that will be then made available in a dedicated gallery on this website.
